Born to working class parents in Washington State, U.S.A. I lived a very sheltered life, until I dropped out of high school during the Viet Nam war to join the Navy. I became a Navy Boiler Maker, and joined a training command in New York, and started training Naval reservist. In my travels, and over my 20 year career, I visited many countries, and volunteered at many orphanages to help make a better life for them.

Nací de padres de clase trabajadora en el estado de Washington, EE. UU. viví una vida muy protegida, hasta que abandoné la escuela secundaria durante la Guerra de Vietnam para unirme a la Marina. Me convertí en un fabricante de calderas de la Marina, y me uní a un comando de entrenamiento en Nueva York, y comencé a entrenar a un reservista naval. En mis viajes, y más de 20 años de carrera, visité muchos países y me ofrecí como voluntario en muchos orfanatos para ayudar a hacer una vida mejor para ellos.

I retired, and continued my education. ultimately teaching at a local college. Then I accepted a position at a parrot study facility and became the administrator and assistant veterinary tech. teaching university veterinary students how to treat and care for parrots.

Me jubilé y continué mi educación. en última instancia, la enseñanza en una universidad local. Luego acepté un puesto en un centro de estudio de loros y me convertí en el administrador y asistente veterinario. y enseñó a los estudiantes universitarios de medicina veterinaria para tratar y cuidar a los loros.

After retiring from that facility, I retired to Arizona, and purchased a 40 acre ranch, and put to practical use, my education in solar energy. I also opened a Community center to assist the local community in learning to live sustainably in the high desert. A position opened at a Christian broadcasting company, and I took two years to learn this area of communications. 

Después de retirarme de esa instalación, viajé a Arizona, y yo compró un rancho de 40 acres, y puso mi educación en energía solar a un uso práctico. También abrí un centro comunitario para ayudar a la comunidad local a aprender a vivir de manera sostenible en el desierto alto. una abierta posición en una compañía de radiodifusión cristiana, y me tomó dos años aprender este método de comunicaciones. 

There is a silver lining that God provides us in our darkest hour. in 2021 God introduced me to the most beautiful and talented Jenny Chaves Chaves (who is now Jenny Chaves Vincent). After many conversations, we decided to spend the rest of our time here on earth, in the service of our God. This has taken much time and effort to comply with the regulations of both the United States, but also Costa Rica.

Hay un lado positivo que Dios nos proporciona en nuestra hora más oscura. en 2021 Dios me presentó a la más bella y talentosa mujer. Después de muchas conversaciones, decidimos pasar el resto de nuestro tiempo aquí en la tierra, en el servicio de nuestro Dios. Esto ha tomado mucho tiempo y esfuerzopara cumplir con las regulaciones tanto de los Estados Unidos, sino también de Costa Rica.
